Great question! So often, our conversations at work and life are hurried. People “listen” just enough so that they know what they’ll say next, and look for their chance to jump in. We have very few relationships or times when someone is just present with us, and make time and space to explore possibilities and be curious about us. That’s what holding the space is — asking powerful questions and carving out a protected confidential space where we can deepen our understanding of ourselves. Hope that’s helpful!
